[00:00:02] Hello. [00:00:04] And it's been such a long time. [00:00:09] I have to explain what's been going on. Of course it is. I moya with How Betty Davis Saved My Life, Life Lessons from Classic Hollywood and from our spin off series or episodes, whatever you want to call it of our podcast, Late to the Party Now. [00:00:37] I have to say I am so sorry that I have not posted in a while because there's been so much going on behind the scenes. Let me know, let me tell you what's been going on. So you know Georgia took a hiatus. For those of you don't know, Georgia was the co host of How Betty Davis Saved My Life. She was there with me from day one and it's been five years. [00:01:05] I'm almost might be a little bit five and some change. But five years since Georgia and I started How Bette Davis Saved My Life, Life Lessons from Classic Hollywood. Well, a few months or several months ago Georgia had to take a hiatus because she had some personal issues going on that's been cleared up. Georgia is fine. She sends her love and her regrets. [00:01:30] Unfortunately this podcast is a two person job and there's no way I can have a personal life and prepare properly and give a good product to our fantastic audience. And again apologies and thank you for hanging in there. You saw I was posting a lot of classic rewinds. That's because was just trying to wait to see what was going on with Georgia. And once I found out that basically Georgia has some life changing events going on and she had to go in a different direction that would not allow her to fully participate in the podcast. And like I said, it is a two person job. [00:02:14] And I just want to thank you all who've been with us our day ones and unfortunately like I said, I just do not have the time or the energy to give you a proper product as they say. And so that's why I just want to let everyone know that this will be our last year of How Betty Davis Saved My Life, Life Lessons from Classic Hollywood. [00:02:39] We're going to be shutting down the live broadcast as well as the audio portion of our podcast that's on several platforms and we're also going to be stopping the YouTube channel of the same name. And I I it's bittersweet. I totally enjoyed it, Georgia. Totally enjoyed. This was a very difficult decision for us. But again thank you all so much those of you who helped us build. We met, we had small goals, small realistic expectation and goals and you all helped us reach all of them. Shout out to our special guests they know who they are. [00:03:23] We. [00:03:24] And just the platforms and the communities that we were able to join. I wish we would have been so much more active in those communities. And I just want to say thank you all so much for the support on the Facebook page and again, the YouTube channel and all the listening platforms. I wish I had time to post more. Maybe I might post something intermittently. I. I don't know. But again, it's. It's really a lot that goes into what we do and a lot of other content creators and shout out to those who can do it solo. Man, y' all are some warriors. [00:04:01] But again, I started this with Georgia. I want to finish it. You know, I couldn't finish it with her, but I know realistically, there's no. We're gonna. No way we're gonna be able to do it. I'm gonna be able to do it without her or someone else. And Georgia was just my girl and we just vibed off each other and, you know, why mess with perfection?
