Brown Paper Bag is an homage to one our favorite film genre's, film noir. But, it is told from the rare perspective of a black man as the hero/protagonist in 1940's Hollywood. Archie Glass (Rasheed Stephens) arrives in Hollywood with stars in his eyes to only have them immediately exchanged for black marks for all the beatings he takes by not only racist but criminal thugs too as he searches for a missing white starlet. This well done independent film is a not to miss, on pins and needles gem!
